Gold deals on Moscow Exchange fall 60% to 11.6 tns in Jan–Sep
MOSCOW, Oct 2 (PRIME) -- The physical volume of deals with gold on the Moscow Exchange fell by about 60% on the year to 11.64 tonnes in January–September, the exchange said in a statement on Wednesday.
Deals with silver more than doubled to 7.334 tonnes.
In monetary terms, gold and silver deals amounted to 29.6 billion rubles, down from 76.1 billion rubles in the same period in 2018.
In September, the total amount of deals was 1.9 billion rubles. In real terms, gold deals amounted to 0.6 tonnes and silver ones to 0.4 tonnes.
